13 whole ass minutes.
A lot of time can be shaved off by not using Setsuna and not using Attack 2 and instead using Combo Master or something, and then by utilizing the lock on system to ATK it's head when it's down(?).
Because of the existence of Full Assist and being accused of using it, I find myself subconsciously trying to not trigger invul dodges just to show the kids it's real.
I spent quite a long time trying to use Perfect Guard instead, but trying to make that a playstyle in this game hardcore drops your DPS since you get locked out of staying in the latter loopable combo stages like that. Plus there's no real reward to Perfect Guard except a little more stun gauge. wtf even is this shit.
To be honest, I got bored somewhere around the 2nd rage phase and started playing carelessly and haphazardly as a result. I don't really like how Narmaya plays in this game.
Even so, I was trying a lot in this run, with the main one being attempting to find player expression.
Characters are so shallow, there's legit 0 room for you to express yourself through your gameplay. There's nothing besides emotes. If everyone else does that in their videos, we are all uploading the exact same run, playing the exact same way.
Is that fun to watch?
You can cope and say it's just a demo. But even taking this as a starting point and throwing in more skills, combo attacks, passive abilities and fancy boss fights won't really make the game much different to how it is now imo.
You might rejoice as a casual player looking to mash square, but if you desire more, there is no substance here.
That being said, I might pick up the full release just to make videos as long as people will watch them.

You should do the link attack, is better than the combo and you can change stances after it anyways.

Yep i also tried solo with her but not using the two things that spaws or her ultimate to do damage and couldn't finish in 20 min And in coop i can never be mvp when i play her Charlotta i think is the strongest character in this demo (??), the lil old man is also fun to play, but yeah zeta with air combo and counter is the funniest also for me

Yes, there's s on the dodge. It also lets you get back to the attack combo right after a dodge. A perfect dodge also gives you temporary hit immunity, though I'm not sure if it's strictly timed or if there's a hit limit.

When the game drops, could you try Vaseraga? Maybe try a no-damage run with him? If not, to get that massive dps boost from taking damage during his skills, maybe just do solo and clear Golem under 3 mins solo or something lol. Would love to see combos with the big guy as we've seen basically nothing on him, Percy, or Vane!

It’s fine the way it is. It’s called Risk vs. Reward. Properly timing a dodge will result in invincibility, allowing you to take no damage and in some cases maintain uptime. Likewise, choosing to evade a predictable attack to maintain uptime puts you in danger, and can result in your death depending on who you’re playing and what the attack is. This person is skilled. It is NOT easy to go hitless in this. Their ability to read situations, and excellent timing is what enabled to do this. Not an overabundance of i-frames.

all your grievances on this game are still relevant for Monster Hunter world, but we still get people going crazy about that game and drooling to get the newest version of that series. there is no individual touch to playing the greatsword, or longsword, or dual blades or whatever else weapons are made there. sometimes what people like is the chance to mess up some creatures, or to do that with a team, or to do that with skill and mastery for personal satisfaction, or to some, simply collect some cool gear. if that does nothing for you, sure, maybe this isn't your kind of game, but you are mistaken if you think this type of game has no chance, no future, no way to find success. i can see just from the footage on youtube that this game is Monster Hunter but BETTER.

Narmaya's kit is kinda weird in this demo. Her Dawnfly stance is pretty bad when you get stuck into it because you dodged. Hopefully that doesn't translate to when we get the full game.

Dawnfly is just a slower stance that has a different focus. It can hit a wide swathe of enemies, making it excellent for crowd control situations and hitting faraway targets. Here are some tips to try when next you play her. 1) In Dawnfly stance, 3 Square -> Hold Square will always result in the fastest charge time for her Zone Attack. 2) With that in mind, remember that after evading you can immediately follow-up and continue your combo. Be quick if you think you have the opening to do so, and you can pick up right where you left off. ^^
