Does anyone live in Noda? Is it considered generally a safe neighborhood? I currently live in Hollywood LA but am considering moving to Charlotte this year. I really didn’t like the crime here in Hollywood, like literally laying in bed hearing gunshots at night. I researched and Charlotte apparently also has a high crime rate and most websites claimed it’s crime rate % was higher than LA in regards to the % that it is above the average national crime rate. Which I kind of find hard to believe. Anywho, I want a hip area by coffee shops and breweries that hopefully isn’t too unsafe, any recommendations??

The price points surprisingly aren’t all that different from the nice apartments in Santa Fe. AND you get more amenities in Charlotte than Santa Fe. It is not that nice here, the prices are comparable. The most you might get in SF for the same price is a 2 bedroom, usually with only one bath.
