My heart is still with #Sidlotte but I'm beginning to see the appeal of #Charbourne too. The other compelling couple for me is Alison and Captain Fraser. Even more so than Charlotte and Colbourne. I'm just a sucker for urequited love what can I say.

The cornflower scene seems so rich in symbolism. Colbourne’s wounds from poisoned arrows needs healing. Their being Charlotte’s favorite flower and his subsequent response in giving them to her is as if he”s saying, you are equally capable of healing me from my wounds. Just a thought.

I'm left handed and I agree. I always notice. I've never used a quill pen, but years ago I used fountain pens, so I laughed when I read Ben Lloyd-Hughes said in an interview he had a heck of a time writing with a quill because his hand would smudge the ink! I could relate!

Judith one of the hardest parts of living is learning to move on when things don't work out..Charlotte is learning this lesson..I believe she will have a love EVEN greater than Sidney..Just watch..

@@audreycumby1075 Well, it's Jane Austen. So realistically, Charlotte would have ended up with Sidney if Jane had finished the story. People are allowed to dislike Season 2. We don't have to like it. I was actually looking forward to seeing more of Charlotte and Sidney in Season 2 and quite excited when it finally got renewed, only to be disappointed when I learned that Theo James wasn't going to be in it.

I wish the writers didn't have so many mean characters, and for goodness sake why is the Colonel being a bit of shady character now? Colbourne is a bore, so tired of the broody, mean and condescending Mr. Darcy types in every Jane Austen book and now in this version too! At least my mom and I have a delightful time yelling better lines over the actors voices, and shout things like *why you so stupid* mostly when Charlotte's sister is in a scene! What a dumb ass! It's all fun and games when know you can do a better job in the script department than the crap sodding writers for this show!
