Agree, her voice is very healing to listen to. A lot of people needed to hear her sing in order to feel better, which is one of the reasons she was called an Angel. I read she didn't like that, as people thought she was a real angel. The odd person might've, but the majority just wanted healing. I hope she returns too because people still want that. I still can't believe she turned her back on this career.

I couldn't agree more @Angel! I don't know if anything could bring her back from her retirement which is such a shame! Charlotte was I my view, one of the best Mezzo Sapranos of her day, and to lose her to the pop scene is a real shame! I understand she wanted to try different types of music just as all young people like to explore new things, so I may be being a little selfish :) but she will always be at the top of my list! x

I wish Sissel sang a version of this. Although shes more of an Opera singer she also sings crossover (and does so in many languages). Charlotte has incredible vibrato. Can't believe this was 22 years ago. Been listening to her since she was a child prodigy. Jackie Evancho as well. Yep these beautiful singers grow up. Often their voices are discovered in church quire (Susan Boyle, Whitney Houston).
