My opinion, but as a female, and for general safety, I would always keep my phone next to me at night. If I'm tired, I just turn it off and go to sleep. Safety first.❤

I’m 22 as well and I have fairy lights in my room. On top of that, my room is filled with plushies lol. I don’t care that people think it’s childish as the lights and plushies make me happy and I am healing my inner child. Love your apartment btw 💜

Apartment looks awesome! Lights are lights🤣 they look great! I'm 31 and married and have white lights on black wiring around a window for ambience so, you're all good! LOL Only suggestion is maybe charge your phone in your bedroom for safety since you are alone. You can get it quicker in emergency. All the best,

OMG!! I'm in my 60's and I have fairy lights in my bedroom and around my headboard. I get compliments when I leave them on and have family and guests over for dinners. Go for it!!

Hi Charlotte! Shame on whoever said negative comments about your fairy lights. It's your apt and your bedroom. You can have fairy lights all over your apt if you want. I love your bedroom with the fairy lights. It's beautiful. Your whole apt is beautiful. I use kids mouthwash bc I like the bubble gum flavor. I don't like adult mouthwash and I have some cute toys. A llama that plays music and dances and a pink pig that walks and dances. You can have anything you want in your apt no matter how old you get. Thank you for the apartment tour. Hi Charlotte! I’m catching up on all your previous videos. I found you when you were apartment-hunting. I love your little nest and the way you have decorated it. You do you, Charlotte! I am 75 and LOVE your fairy lights…keep them up. I have battery operated candles all over the house ( can’t have real candles because I have 2 crazy dogs and I’m afraid of fire). One other thing…please keep your phone near you in the bedroom when you sleep. You may need it in an emergency! Just a worried granny always thinking of safety. Chris💖

Idea: You could add photo frames in your hallway kind of like displaying your life or stages of your life like your 1st bday, or the day you grauated, first day off college etc. Your apartment is already sooo nice but I think this extra touch would give it even a more home-y feeling. Its ok if you dont like the idea :) I HOPE YOU ARE SAFE, SECURE, AND HAPPY!!

Every adult needs a little fairy light moment somewhere to keep the magic and whimsy alive in their life :) This apartment is your transition out of college into "big girl" life, and the lights fit that vibe. Also, very functional! I love all the creative choices you've made with the furniture to fit your life with the couch and the sofa tables and table/desk. I love it when spaces can be super practical and functional and also beautiful.

I am not in my 20' far away and I love fairy lights and have them myself, I feel they make a room comfy-cozy. I agree a coffee table would have made the living room look and feel cluttered. You have got a really nice apartment there. And I like the fairy lights. My daughter uses them in her bedroom as well. The only thing I would’ve done differently is that I would not have gotten that kitchen table. (Which is practical) but would have gotten a chaise lounge and a nice little side table so that I could sit there and have tea and soak up the sun and do my journaling that way. I really like your sofa, tables and green chairs as an eating area.

Looks like an awesome apartment, great tour. I also don’t have a coffee table so I use side tables plus the tv stand. I like having the open space in the middle of the room without having to worry about the need to move it around. Also you do you with the decoration. I think the lights you have are great and very functional considering you don’t have a window or overhead light in your room.

I can’t believe how you’ve created such cute distinct areas in such a small space. I tried to live in 500 sq ft and couldn’t do it. I’m in 600 sq ft and that extra 100 makes a huge difference! Loved your move in videos!

Love your home, it looks super cozy! Only thing I'd have done differently is having a kitchen island, then turn those 2 green chairs around so that they face the island and kitchen. The island adds more counterspace and also doubles as a dining table. This is just my preference, but I love what you've done with your little home. Love the fairy lights...they add a dreamy look to the bedroom.

Welcome to DC! For small balcony furniture I recommend Walmart or Target. You could make the space a comfortable one-person oasis or a two-person conversation area.
