One thing I’ve noticed after living in a variety of places - the newer washer-dryers don’t work for shit 😂 the older units I’ve lived in with older machines work soooo much better. My clothes are fully dry after 20mins, even on low heat. The newer machines would take 60+ mins

Yep apartments 2&4 were my pick of the four shown but the north facing is a downer. I do love a balcony - it literally gives you another room, imagine the door open and having a little patio set to enjoy your morning coffee on, with some planter boxes to grow some fresh herbs or flowers and all that fresh air coming in too.

This was so interesting. The apartments are gorgeous and the pool areas looked incredible but OMG the price! I nearly fell over when you put the first one up 😅 I'm in the south west of France in the countryside and we rent a small 2 bedroom house with a reasonably large garden for 620€ a month! I won't be moving to DC any time soon lol. Can't wait to see the apartment you chose ❤

Holy cow those are some expensive apartments to not even include utilities! Any apartment that charges more than $2k in DC should have free utilities and in-unit washer/dryer. But maybe i'm dreaming of pre-COVID rates.
