I'm applying to uni of Sheffield this year is there anything really important about the uni I need to know

ahh how exciting !! i think it’s important to bear in mind that sheffield is a smaller city so if you’re after more of big city vibes like london/ manchester/ leeds then keep in mind sheffield is a bit more chilled and smaller, but very friendly and easy to navigate with a really great night life :) i’d recommend getting as involved with everything at uni as you can do, as i’m so gutted basically all extra curriculars were cancelled for my first year & i think it would have made my experience SO much better, best of luck

i’m in SUPAS which is the musical theatre society but we haven’t really been able to do much this year, i’m going to be joining the politics and philosophy society for my course next year too x
