By far the most beautiful melody and most breathtaking guitar solo I've ever heard in my 50 years of living and 38 years of playing. Still, there are parts in this solo that haunt me as to how Steve came up with them. I could sit and drill this man with questions for days. About music, guitar, and life. He is THE BAR.

At 3:55 he just goes OFF and displays why he is known as one of the best. The way he moves from his whammy hits to keeping the same rhythm as he moves up the neck is amazing. The flourishes afterwards can only be accomplished by the long fingers he displays during this powerful crescendo.

They're not like Vai live, but damn do they make your face melt in astonishment and cry out in beauty just the same when it comes to the studio. Especially Plini and Abasi... Sometimes your brain just can't process how they performed a certain passage or wrote a certain melody... It's powerful stuff.
