I was estranged from my older brother for 8 years due to personal differences compounded by childhood trauma we both suffered that affected us both deeply. As young boys we both loved this song, it was one of the first albums that he ever owned. I randomly decided to share this with him a couple of months ago and after absolutely no contact from him for years he actually messaged me back and then called me. We have started to forgive one another and we are rebuilding our relationship. Cheers Joe.

There are many guitarists who improvise at the end of their songs doing meaningless solos. When Joe improvises he makes incredible melodies, riffs and solos, with feeling, definitely Joe is one of the best guitarists that ever existed.

That was a journey. Holy cow, so moving. It's like the guitar is an extension of his soul. So much feeling, so much skill. ...and on that note, if Joe Satriani can only get 159K subs, I'm throwing in the towel right now.

One thing I always enjoy about Satriani is that, out of all the blistering virtuoso "out there" guitar stars, he still manages to keep it musical, and still about rocking for the people.

Satch is my favorite guitarist and he's a master for so many reasons. But his performance in this video is above and beyond. The extended solo section is pure joy, and the little octave riff at 6:02 gives me goosebumps every time.

The original song is a classic, but for me the whole extra 5 mins of jamming is simply the best live guitar I have ever heard, the note selection, the bends, the sound, the guitar is screaming and then all of a sudden crying, it’s just magic. Never ceases to blow my mind.
