This video is 4 years old, BUT it's what I was looking for because as of late I've been really wanting to start a charm collection for casting!! My husband and I are presently scouring the house in search for items that I can start off with and I also plan to order a charm pack or two from Amazon today also. Thanks Kelly!! Do you think you could do a more recent video on this subject? I'd love to find out new ways perhaps that we've overlooked and you have much more experience in this than I do. Love and blessings!

I was reading Little Red Tarots blog and saw her Charmcasting set. It got me excited to make my own set. I went through all my beads, charms & old jewelry. I also went through my kid's Legos, there are a ton of great little pieces/charms that you can find in the Lego sets. Another great place was my kids old games- I found so many great treasures. I have so many great choices now (too many), I may have to create some extra sets? I love the tarot deck you are using! Can you tell which one is it? Thank you! I enjoyed watching all your videos!

Oh, also you mentioned wanting more mini dice in 4 colors for geomancy. I searched mini dice on Amazon and there are a ton that might work for you. I don't know the size of the ones you have but I saw 5mm, 8mm, 12mm, etc. None seemed expensive either.

Charm casting has always fascinated me but I never actually got around to looking into it further and actually getting charms. I saw Rana George do a video on charm casting on her channel a long while ago.

I ended up using a "T" that was on my father's old army uniform for the crossroads and for the garden it's a green bead with some wire entwining it! Thank you for watching!!

Dice are measured in millimeters. Simply measure one of them from left to right with a ruler. The ones you have in the video look to be either 8mm or 12mm dice. 16mm dice are the ones that most people are familiar with. There are even 5mm dice which are some of the coolest dice just because of how small they are, and chances are, you'll end with more than you most likely want. Go with the Koplow or Chessex (i.e. if you can get it; I don't think Chessex sells anything smaller than 12mm) brand because the "amazon choice" on amazon are sold by another brand with nonmatching color pips (i.e. like lime green with red pips), and if you are anything like me, that'll drive you nuts because the colors don't match lol.

That would drive me nuts :D And the 5mm sound adorable which might be the tiniest dice I have but I haven't tried to measure them :D

Sorry so many questions, I'm just new to charm-casting... If a charm falls upside-down, do you turn it right-side up and just read as if it were in an upright position or do you read it negatively? As a beginner, how would you recommend I go about using my charms? Like what beginner's method do you recommend? Trillion thanks! 😀
