1st of all Ryan KNOWS that they have a point. Obviously he is not telling us(the camera) how he really started this business with them perhaps as partners/investors hood style lol. This is why they make up as friends and work their issues out in the end. Even now(present time after filming) him and Van are still friends. Once you open up about everyone being family and making the business from the ground up all TOGETHER it means they think they own the shop too. Now that it's successful he is allowing his girlfriend -aka- (Duchess2) to influence him. She has NEVER liked his friends, its clear at the party she doesn't even talk or have fun with them. Nevertheless, he has to stick to his word, because at the very least, he created this monster, so he will have to live with it.
