Shamsiyat is so so sweet woman. She is so kind and hardworking yet when she saw the camera she immediately went home to take on necklace and blue (for special occasion) shawl.
I couldn't take off my eyes off this simple oldfashion necklace... Like her life. Simple and not for everyone to get it...

Help grandma do that kind of work , i dont think so, we don't get up till 10am, kids refused to help grandma,if i said that i wouldn't be able to sit down for a week. that's the problem with this world today kids have no respect of the parents there use to getting everything they want. They come out into the real world and there in for a big surprise.

To me, Shamsiyat's life is culturally rich and full. She is living her life the way she chooses. She has no complaints or requests. Grandma is doing better than a lot of us who are couch bound and internet dependent living vacuous lives. Blessings to her!

At that age, she has no impaired hearing, and she can lift heavy things. She has great agility. If she stops moving to do her daily routine for sure she would become weak this is one of the reasons most of them do not want to move to the city because they feel they would easily get sick.

I can go on listing.... the plausible explanation for the healthy grandma , whilst we in the modern city with all the amenities and convenience, are susceptible to weakness, illnesses and bodily injuries and pains as early as in the 30s!!! By the time the city grandmas hit their 50s, they satrt complaining of joint paints, lack of mobility, insomnia, indigestion etc etc....
