Both Charlie and Jackson are adorable. So affectionate and obviously loved dogs. Spoiled rotten getting a treatment like this to so goes without saying that they are well taken care of. But the best thing they could do for Charlies health, aches and age is to put her on a diet. May help a little with the snoring to. Have a senior dog myself and my vet has told me that the absolute most important thing I can do to insure a good, long life and to minimize health issues is to keep him thin.

Although doctors, nurses, techs, etc. are human, they need to own their mistakes and try to help those that have been harmed by an error. In this case the vet's office should have provided a lot medical support for free. I really don't blame Charlie's loving parents one bit choosing more holistic approaches after that experience. Glad Charlie is doing better. The other pupper is equally precious! Note: I have 1 kitty that must have his vaccines spread out, or he gets nasty gastrointestinal issues. All of my other kitties do fine with their annuals. Everyone needs space and support to figure out what works best for their animal kids.

What a beautiful family! It's hard. Vaccines do good, and help so many, but can go wrong once in a while. Lucky Charlie has a dedicated family who have done everything to mitigate the negatives of that accident. Has her liver enzymes been checked? Abdominal ascites/swelling is interesting. Some really nice cricks and cracks. She will be a bundle of energy once she naps off the treatment!

Double vaccine(s)? Hum? I am not a vet, but I have a sneaky suspicion doubling up on vaccinations is not a good thing. Whether a human or pet, the body can only handle so much. I had my favorite cat given a single dose of rabies vaccine and the adjuvant in the vaccine caused vaccine associated sarcoma. It was horrible watching her suffer with this condition and had to have her put down. I think there is a lot more that we don’t know about vaccines than what we do know. This poor pooch is one of those cases where we don’t really know what happened other than change of color in skin and sores. There is no telling what else is in the works for this critter. As a non veterinarian type of individual, common sense would tell me not to do it again to this or other animals.
@dellzywillis30012 жыл бұрын
I had a Yorkie Maltese mix his name was Cosmo he lived to be about 13 or 14. He had his puppy shots and he was fine The next year when he got his rabies cocktail I can't remember everything that was in it anymore but he started having seizures the next day. I never really took him to the park or anything like that we just played in the yard and he loved being at home so he never got another shot again ,he had seizures that seemed to ease up with age but it always scared me with my other dogs every time they go to the vet I ask that they don't have a cocktail.
