Growing up in Beirut, Sheila and Tim Smith learned that hospitality starts in a garden. Now in Waco, guests dine on meals fresh from the picking and settle back to converse and stroll among the flowers busy with bees and butterflies. See how they built raised stone beds for vegetables, a classy chicken coop out of recycles and how they compost in super-sized trash bins.

That has to be the prettiest garden I have seen. I love all your little touches, like the frog on the garden trowel, the curtains in the chicken coop and the big touches for sure the pathways. I love stone paths. thank you for sharing this beautiful garden....I'll just bet God is looking down saying "Yes...that is what I meant". Have a Blessed day.

Absolutely love your garden. I especially love your tips regarding the chicken coop and the poop scoopers😊. I’m currently transforming my backyard yard for a more garden feel. I deal with fibromyalgia and leave with daily pain. Working in the yard really helps with the joint pain. It’s so therapeutic. Lovely couple. Thanks for sharing. God bless!💕

Молодцы, что сделали массивные бордюры и широкие дорожки. Правда, нет автоматического полива рокариев и миксбордеров. По этому не очень буйная растительность, многие растения не выдерживает засушливого климата Техаса.

Tim and Sheila's lawn (st Aug I think) with the rock integrated into the lawn is really cool. She mentioned they integrated the rock little at a time. I wonder what the maintenance on a lawn/rock patio is? Do you lightly string trim the taller blades of grass when it gets really long?
