CHARMING, SOUTHERN TOWN // Bluffton, SC
I had SO much fun getting to be in #Bluffton! I saw some of my close friends and got to chat with them about why they chose to settle in Bluffton. The town had a great southern charm, and the people were incredibly welcoming. We got to speak with the Mayor, Lisa Sulka, enjoy coffee, and visit some of Bluffton's sweetest spots like Pocket Park. Bluffton is nice and closer to Savannah, but I love Beaufort the best! Southern people are the best, and the Lowcountry has amazing charms! You can live in a small town, and yet close to Savannah and Charleston, and Hilton Head. The only drawback is the oppressive humidity in June through August (time to be in New England then).

I agree with you that Bluffton and the surrounding towns are charming and have so much to offer. While the humidity is definitely a drawback if you can escape a little in the summer you've got the best of both worlds!

@@WhereNextBoomers Yep, my intention is to be in the Lakes area of NH right after Spoleto in Charleston is over, and return to the Lowcountry after the peak fall color season around Columbus Day in early October.

Yes, Bluffton is a special place! We used to live outside of Cleveland...I don't miss those winters at all❄❄
