I agree, the 1936 Douglas Endeavor is a beautiful motorcycle. And is incredibly beautifully restored. But the AJS racer was the outlier for me, I was instantly in love when I saw this bike. Thanks for sharing gentlemen.

Sunbeam with Sidecar was a cracker. I went all over Yorkshire and surrounds in my Dads Matchless 1000 and Sidecar Fantastic memories and you’ll never know the thrill of being in one in the early 60’s with cafe racers using wood alcohol

The Rickman Honda is not a 1978. The carbs, the gauges, indicator lights, the side covers are all pre-1977. The gauges in fact look like 1972.

Thought the bsa sunbeam was 4 stroke

Good point. The 175cc ( like the one on the auction ) was 2 stroke engine but the 250cc was a four stroke 👍

@@classicbikeman that 250 twin 4 stroke engine as actually pretty punchy, should have been more popular than it was

@@harpoonlouis I worked at the main agent at that time. I never saw a 175cc 2 stroke type. They were always 250 cc(I think) 4 stroke twins. I thought they went well, and seemed popular.
