Habit is interesting, to say the least. It's part delay pedal, part looper, part noise factory and all fun! Start with a digital delay, add some special effects and give it a three minute long memory that will then allow you to bring back moments of the past and inject it into your playing.

Chase Bliss pedals are composer’s tools. I’m a huge Strymon guy. Although they can be complex, they’re a working musician’s best friend. Studio quality and easy to dial in. Chase Bliss, on the other hand, is complex, crazy expensive, and takes A LOT of time to get your arms around.

First off, it’s an honor to get a comment from the Sausage King of Chicago! I feel some of CBA’s stuff is expensive, the Automatone’s come to mind. But I don’t feel they all take a long time to grasp. There’s quirks for sure. But only Thermae has been the real challenge for me

I just took the plunge, bought this pedal and apologized to my wallet. The problem is it doesn't arrive until the end of August, giving me plenty of time to ponder my purchase and freak out as to whether I'm actually going to like the pedal, or even know how to use it once it arrives. Videos like this make me stoked again - I do not regret my purchase and I can't wait to try it out for myself. Glad you took the plunge too ;)

I don't understand the difference between many of the Chase Bliss pedals. It seems like there's a lot of overlap between several of them and I don't know which one to try.

In some cases that is true but they’ve consolidated a bit to counteract that. What sort of thing are you looking for? I have, like, almost everything CBA makes currently

@SeanPierceJohnson well, I'm not a guitarist. I have synths, samplers and drum machines. I do know that the Generation Loss mk2 seems appealing but aside from that I'm not sure.

@@VincentsVideoVisions gotcha. well, there is SOME overlap as I said. but each one does approach similar ideas in different ways. the Mood MKII might suit you. they just put up a video of some sounds and feature rundowns.
