It was all intended from the beginning. Mood, Blooper and Habit was made to be a trio about ambiance, delays and loops. So if you think Habit has familiar traits from the Mood and Blooper, you're damn right. And that only means they nailed it :)

Condor is their only pedal I want for my performing board, maybe a Thermae. The Wombstone, Thermae, Tonal Recall, Spectre(though $900 is ridiculous), Gravitas and Warped Vinyl can do the basics, plus many more tones, but most of the others, that I see non-ambient players with, don’t get much use, or they literally only use it just to for big endings, or to act silly. The Automatones are a different story, but really just expensive studio tools. I can’t believe the Reverb costs more than the preamp; but what do I know?

Cool for soundscapes here and there...but sort of a " look , I can spend two hours making bloops and bleeps instead of learning a beautiful song with interesting harmonic/melodic content" pedal. It's like they looked at the Arpenoid, ZOIA, and EHX RTG and said "hold my beer" There might be a lot in this pedal that i would personally use more for inspiration, but as far as conversation suggesting it's not that musically useful, i'd submit there are more useful settings i heard here than i can find in the Atredies pedal we all got excited about a couple years ago. I play ambient and traditional blues/rock, so there's a lot of crossover opportunities here. But holy cow, i would have a heck of a time finding back a setting I really liked. Lots of cellphone pics of settings for this one. :)

Yeah, I dunno about this one. Where the blooper feels like a tool with a few flourishes and the mood like a toy that is so much fun you couldn't help but write a song or three around it, this feels like an electro harmonix pedal. I think effects are moving in this ambient/modulated direction because the core circuits for most popular effects are well established and dirt cheap. It’s hard to come up with circuits for core effect types that aren’t anything more clones (which hasn’t stopped them yet to be fair lol) unless you start adding a bunch of novelty sound and modulations. This sort of stuff is cool I guess, but like most of these wonky pedals I doubt you’ll see them on a RigRundown for anyone.
