I am right there with you. I am loving his second career stage. It helps that he drove the same car NASCAR is using this year. Boyer has NO clue, and can not speak directly to how this car feels. (this is more relating to Harvicks commentary during broadcasts).

It’s amazing to see Chase’s demeanor change since winning at Texas. If you go back and watch the DajeJr Download podcast before he won he’s his normal self but he’s tensed up. After winning he’s so much more relaxed and at ease.

I'm not surprised he didn't mention it. In interviews last year, Kevin repeatedly admitted that he would purposely create drama whenever he wasn't running well as a means of staying relevant and keeping his name (and sponsor) in the storylines. While dragging that story along each week and saying it wasn't over yet with Chase, he was seen having friendly conversations with Chase backstage during driver intros. I'm not saying that the initial frustration "at" Bristol was fake. I'm sure he was livid at the time. I'm merely saying that it didn't carry on for as long Kevin would have liked us to believe. And he has admitted to it. Clearly they put it behind them ages ago because Chase had said in interviews that during his time off for the leg injury, Kevin would call to check on him and see if he was ok.

Consistency in Nascar cup racing isn't as honoured as it may have been in the past, which is remarkable with this current cup car being really dependent on track position and clean air. In a culture of all for nothing (which can be exciting yes,) being consistent is the secret weapon that can showcase a driver's skill and car control.

Yeah, this new car is junk. I don’t like it. We need to get back to a rail race car. We don’t need nothing on the bottom of our race cars. I don’t like the new racing. It’s boring and I’ve been watching NASCAR since I’ve been a little kid I live close to Michigan speedway And it’s not racing anymore. I don’t know who built this car but it’s like a formula on
@christianmeek25426 ай бұрын
Agree in the most part. I would prefer to move away from the "template" cars and let the manufacturers develop their own car within a set of rules. Make the cars look like what is available off the dealerships. Aero advances and efficiency will be the areas to exploit and improve. The new car was developed to cut costs for the teams and have "bolt-on" components that are cheaper to repair. In truth NASCAR stopped being "Stock Car" series when they moved to the template cars in the 90's. The GT series seems more "Stock" to me than NASCAR.
@ChrisJackson-zc6kn6 ай бұрын
I completely understand what you're saying and I agree, but the cars before never ever looked like cars that would come off of a dealership lot. That part is nonsense @@christianmeek2542
