Chase "Quadfecta" Card Setup in 2021 - My Thoughts

Taking a look at how the Chase Trifecta and Quadfecta setup have changed since the beginning of 2020. Looking at the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Freedom Flex, Chase Ink Cash, and the Chase Freedom Unlimited. Discussing my hopes and dreams for the Reserve card going forward.

Hey Will, data point, my AF(renewal) for the Amex Green card just posted to my acct 2 days ago. I called Amex and they offered me 7500 MR points with no spend requirement to keep it open for 1 more year. I should have just canceled it but I accepted the offer. I have the Gold card so not much spend will be put on it.

Great content! If you had to skip one card would you skip the Freedom Flex now that the Freedom Unlimited rewards are similar? Also, what camera do you use for your content?

If they can add a 3X gas multiplier, it would fit into the “travel” theme of the card. Even if they cap the spend, I’d be ok with that.

Agree. Even Citi Premier with $95 AF has 3% on gas.

Outstanding video, Will! I always hear about the Chase and Amex trifectas, but for Chase, I run a quadfecta setup with the Ink Cash, which not many people talk about. I slightly differ in that I have the Ink Unlimited instead of the Freedom Unlimited because of the high sign up bonus and since its a business card, it saves me a slot for other Chase cards. Would you also do a video on the Amex Quadfecta (Platinum, Gold, Green, Blue Business Plus)? Keep up the great work, dude!

i've had a Chase Freedom Unlimited, but it sucks for sure only 1.5% cash back. One of my new favorites during Covid is my Bank of America Cash Rewards. You get to choose the 3% each month and since I live next to a gas station I have earned a lot since I work from home and go get stuff from the gas station. Then changed it to online purchases during the holiday times.

Correction. I still have the Chase, but don't use it unless it's the best to use which is not usually the best one to use.

Will, I think the CSR needs a revamp but I think the boost on the portal is still worth getting. As far as the CFU, I think Chase could have did 3x at grocery stores and not copied the Freedom Flex. That way more people would apply to both cards. I have the OG Freedom and I'm thinking about not even getting the Flex unless it's for the sign up bonus. My CSR AF is coming up around April, so I'm thinking about product changing to the CFU. I'll be eligible for another Sapphire bonus around may or June of 2022.

I wish Chase Saphire Reserve would go back to the old design. The new card design with giant text looks bad.

Something has to be done with the CSR. Even with access to the other cards, it's hard to justify the price with the things it offers and even more so that dining is across the board.
