$60 Lyft ride is 300 UR points, but a $60 Uber ride is only 60 UR points. Now that makes it a no-brainer.

Compare prices. If Lyft $ is > Uber, the marginal difference in UR may not make it a no-brainer.

the partner offers is annoying since they slightly differ between their cards and require individual signing for each card - I can't remember which cards have which offers attached

A strategy that I like to use is just blanked accept all of these offers, then go ahead and spend like I normally do. I'm pleasantly surprised when I go back and see that I earned 10% back on a restaurant or something I "accepted" earlier - Just made my life a lot easier.
