I'm leaning toward the Preferred right now because it has the 3x streaming points and I don't do a lot of travel. Once I start traveling more, I may switch over to the Reserve.

I have the CSR and I love it. With the dining and transportation multipliers, it's the only card I use when traveling

Amazing production

Lately thinking about downgrading CSR to CSP since I'll mainly use point redemptions for Hyatt. Not sure that Lounge usage, DD credits, and increased ins coverage is enough to outweigh the additional $325 for two AUs.

They should get rid of the chase dinning x10 multiplier or make it a better program. I just ignore it

True! It's not a great benefit for the card.

You can upgrade and downgrade between these two without penalties? For example, if I have the CSR, but then I downgrade it to the CSP. But, let’s say that I don’t really like the CSP, can I go back and make the upgrade again to the CSR without penalties?

Yes you can upgrade and downgrade between the Sapphire cards without a penalty. There is a waiting period. You do need to wait a year between each change. Keep in mind, it is also a request. Chase does reserve the right to not give you the change, but that is unlikely.

Do you have to cancel the card first or can you upgrade and still get sign up bonus offer after 4 years?

If I open CSR for one year and then after one year downgrade it, what will happen? Is it ok pay 95 for CSP?
@Spend.Earn.Travel.2 ай бұрын
You will pay $550 when you open the card, but if you downgrade after year one, your annual fee would drop to $95. You would be giving up the benefits of the CSR
