@@jonathanwilliams4255 I don't know about "soon." I ruptured my achilles riding my dirtbike. It has been a long slow path. After a year I was only at about 70% After 18 months, closer. But besides the achilles, the loss of overall fitness was huge (despite trying to do as much as I could). I'm older than him which doesn't help. But pro's have to be at 100% to have the edge. But I wish him well.

Exactly, so Humble, and I'm a Tomac fan too. But the sport can Bite EVERYBODY, just like Chase got Bit all those times, and had pretty small crashes. If #3 couldn't win it . then #23 makes me JUST as happy cause Chase and Tomac have Humility and the most class of the 450 riders, and never block pass. to a fault, like some guys.

Been watching Supercross since the Super Bowl of Motocross at the LA coliseum. I've never seen a year where so many top riders have gone out with injuries. It's pretty disturbing. Hope everyone heals up well and we see them all next year.

I currently ride with the Fastway foot peg extensions. Would they have helped in this case? Hard to say. You do not feel or notice them when riding. Achilles injuries take an minimum of 1 year to heal if it is a bad rupture. It could be more like 18 months or even longer to return to form. Very unfortunate injury, very unfortunate circumstance (a championship). For Rick Johnson it took one incident of a rider landing on his wrist and his career ended. Tomac has had a wonderful career. He and his family are fine financially, but man this is really a bummer. Congrats to Sexton. Well done.

The boots are already designed as such. I've heard some riders take some of the support out of the boots, wouldn't surprise me that Eli does with his riding style. Shame such a freak incident happened.

I've been following the ET3 since 2014, it's not fair no no no after missing a race, after everything he did to end his career like this, I don't know what to say, I don't know who to complain to, I don't see motocross,supercross anymore, after almost a decade I cultivated good feelings, but if in the end the sport is enough.

Seriously though, don't be that "you don't know them so how can you know" people. You guy's are the absolute worst. I get you're attached to him and his career, but it's most likely over. And if he does come back you'll probably wished he hadn't. At his age and with this type of injury he's not just going to come back like nothing happened. It sucks, it happens, but that's how the sport works.

Achilles tendon. It connects the back of the heel to the calf muscle and allows you to walk. When it ruptures you can’t move your foot.

I feel you. 14 NFL teams make the playoffs. This is the equivalent of having 10 of those teams without their starting QB and starting receivers. Maybe the tracks and practice tracks are just too tricky. I cannot think of another motorsport where racers compete on a different track at the same time. Making the main or winning a race should not be about risking serious injury by somehow clearing a quad in a rhythm section. Now throw in the fact you have hug ruts in the bases of these rhythms. O.K. I know they are the best in world, but still, this needs to be looked at. David Pingree suggested lowering the displacement and having a less aggressive tire that everyone uses. Simplify the tracks to accommodate the tires. I love the sport, but for it to grow and flourish we need some changes. Feld needs to get off there @#$% and make some changes. O.K. my rant is over. Congrats to all the great riders and teams for a great season. Thoughts and well wishes to the injured. Peace!

the only reason hes becoming champion is because 7 of the top 10 riders are hurt lol thats the same way he won the 250 chapionship because the point leader got hurt at the end of the season also so hes not a real champion by no way hes good for sure and will be the next champion without tomac around but lots of people can win lol when 7 of the top 10 riders are hurt so the outdoor season will also suck now because theres only two who can hardly stand a chance one is old Roczen but he fades away in outdoor so its a joke now
