I am not one to comment often but I feel the need to now. I am to put it mildly, blown away by Polyphia. The most original and down right talented group I have ever seen. At the age of 72, and a long time music junkie, this group is the most original and creative bunch i have ever had the total pleasure of listening to. I came across your channel and was surprised when I heard you channel and listened and watched your reaction. You pleasure and inner joy flows out as you experience the magic being played, and it's a joy to see another that mirrors the feelings i get as well. Thanks for you time and thoughts. Keep it up, your doing very well, IMHO

For me this song has two parts: first of all we all accept Polyphia is AMAZING and a river of talent, and the second, them paying respect to Vai and him accepting they are his true heirs. The way the 3 guitars mix at the end of the song, is simply mind blowing

It's so great to sit and watch your informed and intelligent reactions ... "Lots of guitarists will watch this and say I'm done"... at the age of 75, and having been around the block so many times I'm dizzy, I have encountered those moments many times whilst listening to the likes of Peter Green, Al Dimeola, Jeff Beck et al ... and now we have the genius of Polyphia ... and still, in my dotage, I cling to my Strat and my mediocrity ... so in the spirit of expanding your awareness of those who would push the envelope and knowing your liking for the wave of talent coming out of Japan these days, can I suggest a listen to Sokoninaru (Brilliant City is a good starting point) I think your reaction would be similar to this one :) keep up the good work

This was a collab I'd always thought would be great, but seemed more a pipedream than possibility. The fact that it actually happened was surprising and man, did they deliver! What an absolute pleasure to see all of these virtuosos share a stage. Like you said, as lovers of music we really are lucky to be alive in a time to see this happen. Steve was and is such an incredible innovator of the craft, just as Polyphia are, but Steve added such a brilliant element to this piece as only he could. Watching the evolution of your love for polyphia was great fun. Thanks for the good and really informative videos. I learned a lot about the space you were talking about and I'm hearing more of the synth and mod effects on the instruments. I STILL want to know though. Is that last angelic set of notes pure guitar harmonics or is there synth and keyboard added in. I REALLY want to believe that humans can make a sound like that without autotuning it. The harmonic syncopathy of 3 amazing instruments in the hands of 3 masters of their craft should be able to make that. What's you're thoughts on that?
