I carry a UK legal pocket knife 24/7 right here in England, it goes where I go, literally weddings, funerals and everything in between. People need to better distinguish between "legal knife" and "illegal knife". Those that carry knives know the law.! The next question is whether the knife is legal or not.? If it is legal then on you go, if not, then a £60 fine is utterly ridiculous if the current going rate for a parking fine is £130.!

Sorry but this is silly any one that is found carrying any knife should be arrested full stop. When I was younger it was called a Rambo knife now it’s being called a zombie knife like somehow that makes it more dangerous or appealing. A bread knife has a serrated edge are we banning that next. The problem is some trades need a knife... if your a chef for example and carry your own set of knives back and fore work between shifts because you dont want them getting wrecked or go missing, you can only transport them from A to B, if your irresponsible enough to leave them in your car and your stopped your done! as the law stands its clear but its the penalties need to be revised.
