You could not have started this series at a better time for me. I have a 92 and me and my son are doing it in phases getting ready to go exploring in it. A 92 was my first ride and I bought another one several years ago to have a nice hobby to do with my son.

Right on! My daughter will be born on the next 9 days this truck is intended to be to the family adventurer. I’m hoping that one day she’ll say “my dad had this old bronco he’d take us camping in” I just got second pallet of parts so will be posted soon!

only steering whine I ever heard was on my old 79, the OBS steering in the last 4 OBS I owned worked as they should no whine or slop , Ford made a good system imop.

Next pallet of parts should show up next week! Thanks for sticking around to watch the build! Also the vacuum lines are definitely a common issue. Best bet is to pull off all the OEM plastic ones and replace with new rubber ones. (I did this back in 2021) 🤙🏻

If you're going for 35's and I presume a decent size lift, why not wait and do a swing set style steering?
@ChaseGentry2 ай бұрын
Because not every guy out there will be building prerunner capable broncos. I’ll be building in in phase from most mild to dune jumping thrasher. Showing most common fixes/upgrades first then progressively step up with the modularity of all of the desolate motors offerings x

@@ChaseGentry sweet, I'm looking forward to the whole series! I'm on the fence on how to build my 96. SAS or TTB. Gonna be a great series.
@David-yy7lb3 ай бұрын
That TTB is just as bad as gm IFS to many moving parts but the TTB is worst the camber is never lined up when going over bumps or dips in the road
@ChaseGentry3 ай бұрын
TTB rocks when built right 🤷♂️
@MisfitOBS3 ай бұрын
@@ChaseGentry 100%! The TTB is one of the most misunderstood front ends out there. When the geometry is set up properly, they are amazing! Camber and alignment are only a problem if the geo and lift are not talking to each other! Ima barf in my mouth next time someone tells me “you need to do a strait axle swap”… haha.
