Very nice video ....can you do a video showing how to set up trackir and incorporating into chaseplane. I have NEVER understood the setup in Trackir regarding using the globe looking things with the man's head that is used in the setup. I have had alot of difficulty with it...Not user friendly and hence my trackir is sitting in a box in the cabinet. Thank you. You are a very good instructor.

Hi Vince I would like to use your chaseplane setting since you are a real pilot. I think the effects would be more close to the real shakes and bumps.Do I copy what you have in this tutorial? I really want to try this software, but I could not find the system requirements. There is nothing listed on Orbx. EZDOC modifies fuselage physics I know it well, it is some point an advantage, many others don't like this feature.

Hi, At 5'45 "to 5'57" you move the picture/view (cockpit) to the right. HOW did you do that !? THAT is what I bought this program for ...! Why didn't you explain THAT ?! I've tried everything with mouse settings but I can't get it done ! Please tell me ! Regards, Guus Belgium.

Vincent - that was a great video tutorial. I just now purchased Chase Plane for my FSX-SE, I realize I have the usual learning curve ahead of me. I have setup some presets, that was easy. The problem I am finding which baffles me are a couple things at this time: 1. I am not able to use my normal joystick setting which I had previously used. Are you supposed to remove all the previously assigned settings? 2. I used my Default Flight for the Chase Plane setup. But I am not able to load any other saved flights, it just seems to hang - any thoughts on this?

Thanks for your reply. 1. If I delete my joystick settings then I guess I need to setup all my aircraft immediately otherwise I won't be able to use them with the joystick - wish there was a way to have both functional. 2. What I meant by "hang" is that when I try to load a saved flight that is not setup with chaseplane then my system does not load, it literally stops running (it hangs up), then I have to use task manager to close FSX.

Thanks for your reply. I trust your judgement (others say the same). But what I like about Ezdok 2 is the light aircraft fuselage shake when engine is at high RPM as opposed to Chaseplane camera shake where the whole screen shakes if you understand what I mean. Just ordered a MS X box controller.

Great one, but i used ezdok and uninstalled it because of the camera movements with xbox360 controller and keyboard and mouse holding space to pan didnt work and use to comeback to default with few seconds unlike the default fsx camera keys. so can i make the default camera controls for keyboard,mouse and xb360 controller work on chase plane without any middle mouse using space and mouse and using the sticks of the controller, Thanks!

Greetings Vince, I use the HOTAS X56; and I'm having a problem with the programming of my #1 Hat Switch. I'm using it for the Move Up, Move Down, Pan Left, and Pan Right. Move Up works, Pan Right works, but when I Move Down, it takes me to an outside back view of the Aircraft; when I Pan Left, it Pans Left; but it also retracts my Landing Gear Lever up and down. It shows that the Button Assignments are accepted in the Control Assignments, (Controls) in CP; but I can't seem to find where these functions are inside Flight Sim. My Landing Gear has a Button Assignment on my Joy Stick; and my Button A controls the new views; can you help me with this? Or can anyone help me with this? Thanks in Advance.....

Hi CptVince i got Chase Plane today and once i installed it and got it connected to FSX:SE, My flight sim dropped from 40 to 50 fps to 11 fps in the cockpit and whenever i load up a flight it loads me up somewhere wierd inside the middle of the cabin. Please help me in this?

YE thats all great and everything but you DID NOT SHOW US HOW TO SETUP PANNING around the outside or inside of the aircraft. I mean, when you setup the nose preference you had to get there somehow. How did you do that? Same with wide view cockpit view. You said you were going to show us but you did not do that. How are you getting the smooth panning from right to left around the aircraft and back again? Are you using Function keys? Up down arrows, what? You definately not using presets to do that. So on your joystick what are you using? Hat switch?? The problem with chaseplane videos is, nobody is showing what keyboard, joystick functions they are setting up and what they are PRESSING!
