Thanks a lot for this detailed walk-through! Watching you use the software actually helped us narrow down some bugs that will be fixed in coming versions. A few tips, notes and tricks: 1- to reset turbulence and control settings, double-click on the knob or right click to reset or set new defaults 2- Absolute positioning is noticeable on the outside camera and does not work if gimbal is not enabled 3- The framing overlay can be enabled but only activates when the simulator gets focus 4- The Reverse Axis should be per assignment, I will have a look for this issue but it most likely is just an issue with the toggle not disabling in the interface but properly is saved in the assignments 5- We have decided not to interfere with the aircraft air frame (for turbulence) as it can potentially cause many other issues and conflict with other add-ons.

Sir, I have a problem with the static cameras. It said that "Your simulator version does not support static cameras at this time" yet in your FSX the static camera is working, how do I fix this? I'm also using ChasePlane v1.2.61

Thanks so much for your fabulous tutorial on Chase Plane. I just now purchased Chase Plane for my FSX-SE, I realize I have the usual learning curve ahead of me. I have setup some presets, that was easy. The problem I am finding which baffles me are a couple things at this time: 1. I am not able to use my normal joystick setting which I had previously used. Are you supposed to remove all the previously assigned settings? 2. I used my Default Flight for the Chase Plane setup. But I am not able to load any other saved flights, it just seems to hang - any thoughts on this?

Great video , I bought it and was supervised how easy compared to ezdok of course I dumped ezdok such a complicated program. How to setup views using the saitek yoke , hat switch etc thanks for assisting and keep the great videos coming

As usual an honestand candid review. I note that you are using an X-Box controller but could one of those small key pads with a joystick also be used as an alternative? Just a thought and an opinion would be most welcome.

Thanks for the support! Yes any small controller with buttons and a stick or two should work fine though I haven't tried it with anything other than the XBOX controller (genuine Microsoft and an Afterglow one)

what about if you are running 4 monitors does it pick up the main sim monitor?

Hi. Looks great (brilliant vid) and I switch back after initially installing and then moving over to Ezdok v2 - does it still interfere with the a2a walk around views like Ezdok v1 and v2 does? Rich

Does it really require you to be in windowed mode in FSX to switch cameras? even if youre using DX10? Fantastic videos by the way, keep it up!

It just does? I love Chase Plane, definitely prefer it over EZDOK. If you are having issues I would recommend contacting Parallel 42 and getting support, they are a great team!

How do you keep the UI while actually flying? Everytime I bring up my UI the game pauses

In your settings you need to uncheck the option "Pause on lost focus"

I came here to see what Chase Plane was conceptually about. After 10 minutes I was no wiser. I jumped forward several times and was still no wiser. Clearly it's something to do with cameras and lots of menus but this is way too much lingering and chatter. Bye
