as someone who's underage the under 13 no chat update is just kinda wild, most underage people who have seen weird stuff on the chat has already seen worse I get that roblox wants to keep us younger users safe and make it fun while also making it safe but whatever I've seen on the chat im used to it and i chat and read a lot so oh no for me, I mostly play games, in these games i hardly (and never) see weird messages on the chat, its either a fuss about the tiniest thing, normal talk this is really good for other younger users that don't really chat but ig I'll try and figure out how to be my own parent so that i can chat (my older sister who was a young adult she would make my birth year way before i was born every time i installed something but i didn't do the same to my account so sadly😭)

Roblox probably knows lots of kids use web chat to talk to their friends. and also, things like peoples accounts being hacked will be evn moore of a probelm I have had my account recently hacked (over 30 days ago) and the hackers changed my email to theirs, but left the phone number untouched. They set my account to under 13 and after regaining access to the account using phone number password reset and changing the hackers email to mine, i have filed 3 support tickets, only 1 has been responded to and they have refused to change my account back to 13+ for "security reasons". Roblox needs to stop restricting everything from u13 accounts.

I kind of feel bad for my younger siblings because they're under 13 and they'll have to verbally communicate with those they're playing with. I mean, sure it's a safer method but now they can't play with their friends from school.

As an underage user, while I do find the update annoying, it's coherent. Even if my chat gets restricted in 2025, i'll just resort to games without a need for communication/singleplayer games in and outside of Roblox (eg.: piano games and maybe the Papa's franchise (my personal favorite is Cupcakeria)).
