This is such a beautiful dance, and I have to say, this song makes me remember that beautiful “openness” feeling that begins with an existential sadness that Amoda Maa talks about in her book “Falling Open in a World Falling Apart” and when it is allowed and truly felt, there’s no going back from knowing the power of that sort of awe that emerges from within. This was gorgeous, usually dont comment on dances but had to with this! Self choreographed? You're incredible! So graceful, you transition so smoothly into each move, it all flows perfectly together, and the amount of control and technique is inspiring. As someone who only self-choreographs routines now, I sometimes feel like im doing it wrong cause i'm not following a routine by a professional, but watching this gives me more confidence in myself, that im doing what feels right for me and my choreography, so thank you!

I dont know much about dance but I have to assume that their right angled feet in held poses were purposeful until the last pose where they stretched them out and that is what pushed it from a 9.5 to a 10/10 for me

I am about to forward this to my daughter hoping it will encourage her to start dancing again. She is 14 now and has been self-choreographing her routines since she was 10. Nothing as complex and flawless as this but still earned an originality award at one of the competitions she attended. She was supposed to resume her training in September 2022 but has been up and down (illness, sickness, various injuries) ever since.
