I am by no means an expert on these cars(far from it), but for the age of the vehicle, it seems like a descent price. Addiction is right...in a good way. Keeps a guy out of the pub. When I hear and watch guys doing complete builds in weeks and months, all I can say is "wow, WELL DONE". I have been at my project '76 100, a few years already and still cannot drive it. But I am getting really close now. Finding and hour a day and maybe 4 to 6 hour session on the weekend in between work and family time, not to mention trying to keep the cost down is the most challenging. However, I draw my inspiration from guys like you Div, among others. Thank you again for sharing. Div, HUDSON needs a number to join the que boet.

Enjoyed your video as am glad to see you got the truck….I agree, it is an addiction as I did a frame off 1969 442 2 door oldsmobile which took me 18 months to complete start to finish. 👍 I am currently working on a 1939 2 door sedan oldsmobile and once finished I will be on the hunt for a 40’s or 50’s cab over or a short 50’s model school bus. One cool looking truck. I don't know if you know Bad Chad. But he got a buddy that had two of them. He sold one but still has one. They based up in Canada..but if you send Bad Chad a message maybe you get Jims contact number. He knows the history of these trucks..be intresting to see the build number. Always enjoy your content. .I put the word out on your channel. I might have to do a road trip down to SA. It's been thirty years . Good luck . I would say in the States what you have would cost 5 to 8 k. Judging on the programs I watch. PS ask Bad Chad for the link on the Hudson truck. Think there was a couple. 6 months back. Take it easy man.

That yellow Chevy looks like. A good candidate for a set of gin poles and a winch.

A Kiwi here Id say you got a good score I keep buying old Hillmans not sure why but I have fun messing with them, the monetary value doesnt matter I didnt buy my current one to resell mine change from stock a bit because I like that and its my car, some purists were horrified at my last one but I grew it from a rusty shell the way I like em.

Hey Duff, I don't know about the other states, but here in or around Kearney, Nebraska USA. That would cost you between 3 to 4 times what you paid. Bart

I think you paid a decent price for the Hudson based on current American prices. Love your videos. By the way I have a 1963 Studebaker Avanti R2 4 speed, 1956 Belair 2dr hardtop, and a 1966 Galaxie convertible....built a 1940 Ford pickup rat rod in the past....'56 Tbird....etc. etc. etc.

I would pay 880 USD for that truck in the states. All depends on situation if you know the seller maybe less.Maybe you would trade for something of less value that buyer needs. But on other hand I could see someone asking 5K US for it which in that case I would be out.Good luck with your new truck!

Awesome lines hey! Its a farm by land definition but I dont farm for a living. Have a few sheep on the side but its mostly just a place to hide from the crazy world!
