I loved tagging along on your trips down to Mosselbay hunting down the Hudson Terraplane. We travelled the N2 from East London to Cape Town so many times. In my youth I was also a "Junk Yard Dog" looking for the parts I needed. So it was a wonderful reminder, with a kindred spirit. By the way I also have a pretty good beard. Stay healthy for everyone watching.

One thing I noticed this time that I had not before in the previous video is in the loadbin/box/bed there are fender inserts in the box. I've seen stuff like that in smooth sided beds, but not on what we would call a step side bed(A bed with fenders). That is kind of cool, maybe back then they thought that we in the future would put wide tire on their truck, so they added them so we could. Who knows. But good video Dif, I really like seeing your country. Most of us only what we have seen on TV, and that is of larger cities in South Africa. Thanks Bart

Great to see you’ve found the missing parts for the Hudson Truck , as you mentioned the Jaguar , my Ford pop has a Jaguar rear IRS and also a MGB front clip , powered by a Rover V8 3.5 , looking forward to seeing the build on the Hudson when you start . 👍

Congrats on the find. That Hudson has beautiful lines. Iemand was 'n bakkie kenner gewees toe hy gekoop was! I think it would be a deserving home for the XJ's suspension and maybe even it's straight 6 if that's not too far gone.

Thanks! The lines of that truck gives me goosebumps! That XJ does have a complete engine and gearbox but I know zip about them. Parts apparently expensive and those SU carbs... Beautiful engine though.
