Did you see what the protesters did in London in front of the Russian Embassy? They painted the road blue on one side, and yellow on the other with washable paint. Sorry to have missed the live stream as I didn't get my notification as phone was charging in the other room, darn.... missed a live fry rating (7/10). I didn't see the usual guys standing on top of the white house during the lift off today... just a tripod as far as I could see.

Curious as to why the DCFD foam units respond to a standby for POTUS landing at the White House in "emergency mode"? I'd think that is a tremendous liability as they are not responding to an emergency. They also return to their quarters in the same mode; lights and sirens activated. Foam 2 is a large, airport-style firetruck that is too wide for a standard car lane. It literally takes up about 1.3 car lanes. They've tried to drive it non-emergency, but it's actually more dangerous as cars swerve to get around it and into other lanes of traffic. Easier to just convoy.

Chopper did seem to be going faster than usual zipping to the drop and swing seamlessly into a soft one hop landing. Also on lift up after the stills the nose of the chopper seemed to be pointing downward heading out in attack mode. Probably a well experienced pilot. Almost looked like a beaver viewing the motorcade. Least he wasn't blind to current events right in front of him not to venture forth.

Except our borders are actually closed, and the funding to guard them is allocated by Congress. So the President can't actually do much while Congress for decades has ignored solving border issues. As to your idea that the funds instead of being used to help Ukraine should go to help the homeless here I bet that you would be among the first to oppose to using those funds to help the homeless. You would likely complain about it being some sort of hand out or come up with some other excuse. In other words, I don't believe you care about actual homeless and use them as in a bad faith way to oppose helping Ukraine.

So far Russia's Army and its equipment has proven to be poor at best, and they know if they use nuclear weapons in Ukraine that the United States will respond proportionally with conventional weapons that will make Russia wish they didn't use such weapons.
