Haven't been back to that part of Indo since 98 it looks as if it's changed a little to say the least. You have to love the adventure of just travelling around Indo so many different sights . Hope you score big time.

Bali is fucked now. I was just there. Scooter ride from Kuta to Uluwatu took an hour and 40 mins with gridlock traffic, choking on truck fumes the whole way. All the little cliffside warungs have been demolished so luxury resorts can dominate the market. Corruption and development at it's finest. I GTFO and went to Lombok asap.... R.I.P. Bali 😔

Hey Koa. Your next major trip should be to Fiji. There is a well known spot, Frigates Passage, the Fijian Pipeline. I surfed there about 22 years ago. Near Beqa, (pronounced Benga) Island. Also other world class island waves. Tell Nathan, big slabs to be found.

Koa can you put out more surf videos every week - they don’t have to be so well edited, cause I know that takes time. Just the raw footage with light music is enough for us landlocked folk! 🏄🏾‍♀️🏄🏾‍♀️ And then of course your regular videos are great, so keep them coming. :)

My two cents as a random internet kook: Barrels: 8 - Turns: 4. Technically speaking, I've never seen someone not progress at all in 4 years of clips (actually regressing). 99% are flat underwhelming carves, mistimed counterrotated snaps and overall seems like 0 effort being put in. That's probably the case too, as he just wants to charge giant barrels. I'm so petty and envious I had to unsub cause it was just pissin me off to see how much he squanders everything without even trying 😅 Poster child for "Got potential but doesn't apply himself"... probably also why Quik dropped him..

How good is that! Hope you get some lucks finding the swell there! Scar reef is an absolute gem when it's on! And hopefully you got a chance to score this epic waves! There's few other gem spot that you need to score around the area there! Would love to see you score some epic right at Yoyo's. I remember doing this trek on a scooter after giving my passport to some dude on a corner in mataram. I didn't explain my plans well so they somehow followed me half way across the island to ask where the hell I was going haha.
