I went full speed down one of my local trails just to get an idea of how fast I am (I don't normally check times). Turns out Danny Heart did it at literally twice the speed xD At last when riding pavement segments and get destroyed I can say "they probably had a road bike", or "they probably had the wind behind them". But on the trail I have no excuses, these guys are just on another level of quick.

@@piciu256 me too but Phil's an ex pro racer or not an active pro racer. I think it's fair to say that he had a huge chance of winning the whole event. He currently participated in the US Open enduro and placed 15th sans training, and 17th in the DH category while still using the same shorter travel bike than the other competitors in their dh bikes.

Crazy freaking Awesome. I started riding bikes before Hutch bikes existed, back 1971 when we spooked a S-2 Schwinn rear rims on a ten speed hub and had a welder put cross bar on Schwinn handle bars. No one back then could have anticipated that bunny hops and cross ups on a BMX would become what you have turned it into. I Still ride today at 62 at the same pace I did back then, but with Haro eBike and a KLR650.
