I probably shouldn't say anything, because I don't have the words to describe it. I'm 82 and been around a bit, but never seen anything compared to what you folks do. Your skill level, respect for each other, decency, and courage is unmatched by anything I've yet to encounter. Because I have many children, most everything you do taxes my nerves to the point of mummification least I become liquid as a way of coping before my nerves shatter as I watch the insane things you pull off, but I envy every thing you do. You people are a special breed, I'ed bet the angles wish they could ride like you.

this whistler series fired me up so hard I rode my ass off around our local trails. I just started again... I raced in high school 30 years ago. I remember seeing the first guy show up with scott shocks, then rock shocks, then i never converted, just went to a day job. 30 years later I tried it again last month, thanks to watching your channel, Alex's, Seth's and GMBN's. i love all you guys. great content, great production quality, Ill check back in when I lose the 45 pounds I been struggling to lose for 18 months now. I have a feeling this is the ticket, doing something you love

these were some of the most fun whistler vids i've seen. Most other youtubers makes vids that are too short with too much editing. The vids in these series shows multiple entire runs and had edits in the right places with just enough talking/conversation sections that broke up riding so it wasn't just a 30 minute video of nothing but riding... which makes them so much better imo.
@IanBarnard5 жыл бұрын
Blake - "I think I should brake... Nah!" Love that no-fear attitude.

I swear Phil gets 30% more elevation on that big hip jump than anyone else.
@willbros14995 жыл бұрын
Noticeably higher, and he travels further across it as well. I don't know if it's the full commitment, or if it's because he's on the enduro bike rather than a DH bike like most of the others riders, so he gets more boost, but it's definitely major altitude on that thing! This video shows DEFINITIVELY that Phil is a world class rider. Period.

I have to say... I just love watching your videos. I could never dream of riding at this level, so watching you do it is just gnarly. You handle the tightest trails with ease, get HUGE air on the jumps, and stick the landings. Just awesome!!! I had dreams of riding there when I was younger, but never made it. Now, at 51, I have pretty much written it off, so watching your videos makes me feel like being there myself because they are so good. Thanks for sharing!!!

Watched every video in the series, start to finish, and backed it up a few times to watch some parts twice! Absolutely amazing footage with legendary riders. That last guy you rode with, the local...was next level fast compared to the "casual" pace of most of the other runs. If you had not scrubbed that last booter, you would have landed in the line for the lift. I was genuinely worried that you were going to boost it at that speed and it might be the go from the series "banger," to being a star on "Fails and Bails." My compliments on what was the best footage of Whistler I've ever seen. I'm actually sad it's over, but looking forward to whatever sort of mischeif you get into next! This series was the double chocolate chip cookie in a normal cookie world. EPIC.

Last spring, I watched a few of your really rowdy Pisgah videos thinking... man, this guy is NUTS! I'd never do that. But... Later that summer, I picked up a fat tired hard tail as a fitness oriented alternative to my usual motorcycling & dirtbiking. Lots of riding later, later that fall I picked up a nice long travel full suspension bike.... and since then I've been getting in shape and going bigger and bigger with my riding. This past summer I rode a few days at Angel Fire while working out in ABQ. I was sending jumps I never thought I'd send, and descending double black tech that I never in a million years thought I'd be descending. So, thanks Phil! As simple a thing as it might have been, your videos really did inspire me to get out there and ride, and I'm *really* glad I did. I've made some great friends, and done some things I never thought I'd be doing.
