One of your videos just appeared in my recommended randomly and since then I've been religiously watching your videos for the last month. I'm 25 and had no idea how bloody interested in flight I was until I watched one of your videos. As a child I wanted to fly fighter planes (back in 98' I assumed I'd still be in a spitfire) but as I grew older I realized we had graduated to jet fighters. Oh the memories. When I was 12 or so in the 80's, I met Frank Sanders. His words burned into my soul about following your heart. A couple of years later Dennis took me up in a P-51D. Time of my life that's for sure.

Before there are excuses found to stop the Reno Races, I so badly need to find a way there to enjoy these!! Aircraft are a passion of mine, and I so badly want to see piston engined aircraft doing speeds I had never known were possible. This said, very awesome that you got to go and enjoy all the amazing flying! Also, while not a VW fan myself, very awesome to see you drive a manual!!

Love the Sea fury,was watching one buzz the field at Duxford Imperial War Museum UK last week,got a nice face full of smoke on start up! It's a fantastic place,with warbirds and other vintage aircraft flying most decent weather days. Spits were flying,B-17 and an Me109 as well,great day!

Haha - yeah - my first car was an ‘85 Scirocco! I have been driving a Subaru WRX for the last ~10 years... but the Golf R ticked all the right boxes so I was happy to return to VW when the WRX needed replacing.

I thought I recognized that cluster! One of my friends has an '18 R. Glad to see you took the manual, my '15 TDI Highline is also a stick. One of the things I love about VW is that you can fully option out a car with every bell and whistle they offer, but still get it with three pedals. Most other manufacturers won't let you get a higher trim level in a proper manual.

I say this a lot... but you know how much I love this one. So cool that Sanders Aeronautics is still doing it after all these years. Dreadnought is still as beautiful as ever. Dennis was probably in the cockpit during the Madera flight photo I shared. This is all way, way too cool. With all my warbird rides, I've only been to Reno once. Really looking forward to more.

Good to see the warbirds out! Went to Ponte De Sor air summit where a European style Reno was run using the sam brief fly debrief procedures, Good to see the sport class getting their formations down so fast, most flew before but some including my dad flying a Cap 231 had only flown one formation in a cessna 152, not quite as good acceleration :P

Just as we pulled in to the airport, and saw the signs, I told my wife, oops! This was supposed to be pancake breakfast... But I already had my heart set on flying out after all that smoke it was a beautiful morning.

I've been an airplane enthusiast since I was a kid, I'm in my mid 50's now. I have to confess that I've never really been interested in the Reno Air Races. But after watching this first installment, my interested has been sparked. Now I have one more place I have to go see, an event I have to go witness, and it's all your fault!

A new RVs heating system will need about 30 minutes to burn off oils and other combustibles from its components. It’s normal and the oils are part of manufacturing, not defects. Remove the batteries from the smoke detectors, open the windows, and turn on the furnace for about 30 min. Yes, you’re going to waste a bit of fuel... one time. It’ll be fine once the smell of burned oil is no longer coming from the vents. [Background: I’ve lived full time in an RV, have bought several new, and encountered what you described.]
