After filming Anuradhapura's episode in the morning, I headed out to Mihintale to see the sunset. Mihintale is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.

Extra info: The great Monk "Mahinda" who brought Buddhism to Sri Lanka was the son of "the great Emporer Ashoka"... The Emporer Ashoka sent both of his son and daughter to Sri Lanka to establish Buddhism here, cause the King here "Devanampiathissa" and Emporer Ashoka was unseen great friends according to the history. Also in Buddhist's history it says, "Emporer Ashoka" and "King Devanampiyatissa" was two brothers in some of their recent past lives before that. It was also a reason for their soul bond friendship even if they were not seen at that time..

Buddhism amongst the Tamils was historically found in the Tamilakam region of India and Northern Sri Lanka.A group of Dagobas situated close together at the Kadurugoda Vihara site in Kandarodai served as a monastery for Tamil monks.the rise in popularity of Mahayana Buddhism amongst Jaffna Tamils and the Tamils of the ancient Tamil country in the first few centuries of the common era before the revivalism of Hinduism amongst the population. the oldest belonging to the 2nd century BCE. Thiriyai formed a prominent village of Jaffna's Vannimai districts in the medieval period. The site is home to Mahayana Buddhist vatadage ruins worshipped by the locals during the rise of Tamil Buddhism. in the area. During Paramesvaravarman I's reign, the famous Tiriyai Pallava Grantha inscriptions of 7th-8th century Tamilakam were recorded in the village.The inscription refers to Tamil merchant mariners from Tamil Nadu,The Chola Dynasty patronized several religions amongst Tamils, including Saivism, Vaishnavism, and Buddhism.In the eleventh century the Velgam Vehera of Periyakulam was renovated and renamed by the Cholas as Rajarajaperumpalli after they conquered the 💚💚💚💚Anuradhapura and established their rule in 💚🤍💚💛Polonnaruwa!!!! 💚💚💚💚💚Tamil inscriptions excavated from this site point to the attention the Cholas paid to the development of Trincomalee District as a strong Saiva Tamil principality and for their contributions to the upkeep of several shrines including the monumental Shiva Koneswaram temple of Trincomalee!!!! Bodhidharma - founder of Chan Buddhism, believed to have come from Kanchipuram Bodhisena - Buddhist scholar notable for travelling to Japan Buddhadatta - 5th-century Theravada Buddhist writer Dhammapāla - Theravada Buddhist commentator believed to have lived at Badara Tittha Vihara Dignāga - 6th-century Buddhist scholar and one of the founders of the Buddhist school of logic Vajrabodhi - Esoteric Buddhist monk and one of the 8 patriarchs of Shingon Buddhism. Also associated with the Nalanda monastery in Bihar!!! According to scholars was Kantarodai, known in Tamil literature as Kadiramalai, the capital of the ancient Tamil Kingdom ruled by Tamil speaking Naga kings from 7th century AD to 10th century AD.These structures built over burials demonstrate the integration of Buddhism with Megalithism, a hallmark of Tamil Buddhism.!!! Bodhidharma was a semi-legendary Buddhist monk who lived during the 5th or 6th century CE.!!! 💛💛💛💛💚💚💚💙Bodhidharma was son of a Pallava King Simhavarma. He is a Tamil King belonging to an ancestral origin at Palnadu (Present day Andhra Pradesh). He was born in Kanchipuram near Chennai (India).!!!! Bodhi dharma is an Indian prince who is the third son of the Pallava king .!!!! Later he left India and went to China to spread the Buddhist teachings in 🇨🇳!!!!!! He is known as Ta-mo in China and he is the first patriarch of Zen known as dyaan in 🇮🇳 !!!!! Hence, 💛💚💚💚💚💚💛🧡Karate is indirectly related to Tamil Nadu , India!!!!!!
