Great vlog of you chasing the northern 319s scrap movements Simon as much as I wasn’t a huge fan of the 319s it is sad to see them go. Shame you missed capturing the moment through Cheltenham Spa but at least you got them through the other 2 stations!

Hi Simon Great bit of drama there... (and the music too)...lol, all good fun. You do seem to like a good train chase and you still managed to get it at 3 locations, so a hearty WELL DONE! As for Cheltenham..well blame that on Cross Country...(even with the incident at Leeds). Are there any more of the 319's still to be moved or was that the last one, maybe try and get some of the 323's (still in WM livery) coming up to Allerton ? Thanks

Although you didn’t see it at Cheltenham, nevertheless it looked like a good day! One thing I find bonkers is the longevity of the class 37s - most of them are 60 years old now!

Brilliant video Cyber, it's honestly sad to see the 319's getting scrapped but oh well, all good things must come to an end eventually. Shame about the emergency services dealing with an incident up near Leeds and my thoughts are with all affected.

It was out of my control and I'm okay with that, think a train running late and a cancel train makes it interesting, think it at the end was more of a shock that it happened but I was happy with the outcome as I saw it in three other locations, thanks Reece

It depends on the times as it varies on departing Birkenhead North Depot. There is one tomorrow but looking at the paths and don't think it it can be chased with limited stops as well. BUT I would like to do a chase with Merseyrail units.

makes you wonder thay say thay are short on rolling stock well if those trains are fit for use then why not keep them running on smaller routes if thay are bothered by the age or look for the main line services scrapping seems such a waste if thay are still able to run safe on the uk main lines sould reuse old stock to help ease the stock issue. great video allways great to see your videos thank you.

There is a surplus of EMUs, even if not all of them are in service. The plan is to replace the 319s with 323s from WMR. That’s been delayed as it is, but the first transfers have started. More will follow soon as the WMR 730s come into service
