Chasing the Class 455 Farewell Tour

14th May 2022, the very last day of the Southern Class 455 electric multiple units in operation and also the day the Class 455 farewell tour ran called the Metro Marauder which was running around London, the Brighton Mainline and the East Coast way.
The plan is to film it 10 times at 10 different locations... well 9 since one location was to be filmed twice but chasing it started off easy but became difficult which plans had to be adjusted and some shocking results.
The Southern Class 455 will be missed but there still the South Western Railway Class 455s.

The Southern 455/8s where a stage to make most of Simon but I will miss these must at admit the Farewell Tour was wild but a great memorable site to see especially with me on the Farewell Tour all the way through👌🙂

I have to say what an amazing send off and a amazing video Simon I was gonna go after the tour myself but I was at work sadly but at least you enjoyed it and shame your not going to be at the opening of the Elizabeth Line but that will be more hectic going up and down that but a great video and get the SWR class 455s while you still can as they haven’t got much longer. You’ve got the class 387s from great Northern coming over the Southern and the class 379s with greater Anglia are going to great Northern as far as I know so a lot of movements happen down south and of course the last remaining class 707 will be coming over to Southeastern in the next few weeks.

I am absolutely crying right now whilst watching this emotional video of the Class 455 Farewell Tour. Will there be a farewell tour for the Class 313 Coastway trains if Southern are to start getting rid of the Class 313. As Great Northern have replaced the Class 313 on the Northern City Line and Hertford Loop line with the Class 717 Desiro City.
