I really enjoyed this video and has inspired me on my own trips and videos. Now that I have more experience, I can see what happened more clearly in your 'scary' moment. No doubt you know this now - but for everyone else - don't have stuff on your deck that can be dislodged by surf. WHat happened in the video is that you stopped paddling to adjust the stuff on the deck which is why you were caught off balance by a wave that caught you almost broadside, as you were close to the coast where there were breaking waves. WHen you're paddling you're basically high bracing with every paddle stroke so when you stop you're vulnerable to a capsize when a wave hits you from an unexpected direction or broaches you. I'm thinking of doing my own circumnavigation of Moreton next month. I'll be taking Gopros too! Cheers, Innes

great work guys, everything right down to the video edditing n song choices. me, my partner and best friend have had enough of kayaking on the murray we"ve dne about 1/3 of n want to move on to ocean kayaking, first goal of paddeling to kangaroo island when were ready. your video was extremely motivational. my frst long term goal i hope in 2 or more years from now we would be able to take on repeating your trip
