I've been trying to get early lvl 3 griffins aswell but i'd never have thought of pilling spider for it 😅 gonna give it a try but it sounds like you need the rng gods to bless you in a big way lol

That was a very cool first run! I didn’t think about using spider to get griffin early yet, although I can tell it was a struggle lol. By the way, your pronunciation of Quetzalcoatl is pretty good! Take it from someone who lives in the country where it comes from

How many tries did it take you to pill level 3 spider into griffin?? Must've taken a while!

The clip at the end shows me getting the first level 3 griffin after only 20 mins or something but then I screwed up. But after that I played a LOT 😅

Wouldn't going for mandrill to instant break the level 3 chest when it spawns?

There was a note on screen about mandrill because I forgot it in commentary. You would need level 2 mandrill though and the odds of getting the good start and then also finding that on top while not losing seem bleak. If someone can do it I'd be very impressed though!

can't you combine 6 spiders to get 2 level two spiders, than combine them to get a total of three levels instead of two levels

No. You used to be able to, but they changed it so that combined 2 level 2s does not grant a shop reward. This was to prevent abusing strats like taking 6 fish to turn 5.
