Check your fork if has any bends cause i seen it happend. Due to a stronger pressure plate. Good luck my bradda 🤙🏽

the trans is pretty much new. It has new shift forks too.

Strange is only in second gear not the rest of the gears i had Similar problem turn out to be the gear itself keep up the good work love your CR-X

Yeah it's pretty complicated, hopefully it's not the trans because it's freshly rebuilt with brand new 2-4th gears

I would do atleast an 500 mile break in on the new clutch..do more 3rd-4th gear pull after 500mile break in and then do 1-2-3 see how it feel..I had few new clutch I install in the pass and I didn’t break it in and it slip n burn up the pressure plate

I like action clutch best. Make sure to follow break in procedure if you dont the pressure plate, clutch and flywheel won't sit together or glaze. Shouldn't be driving hard for a minimum of 500 miles.

Adjust the clutch screws to 1/2 inch. If that doesnt fix it you have a pressure plate problem

The directions clearly say u need to break in the clutch with normal driving for 1000 miles ,everyone that is saying it’s the clutch are doing the same thing u did ,dogging it when first installed ☠️

you have a good point there. But some of these threads i saw online the clucthes were fully broken in and it still had the same issue. I even know a few local people that has had the same issues with their comp clutch after driving for more 1k miles staying under 5k rpm.

Fastest way to break in a race clutch is take it highway speed press the clutch every 30secs while running. Been doing it for years
