Just what I need super rods thank you. Always helps to know what name to key in to find them. I was hoping something of the sort exists. Glad they do. Nice demo video and presentation. Good quality video clarity and sound.

Really well-created demo video. As a DIY homeowner, prob not worth the expense for me, but lots of excellent ideas to do the trick!

Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup kzbin.infoUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.

Great vid Roger, thanks for sharing, I always carry a set of these fibre glass rods with me at all times too, however mine hasn't got anywhere near the same number of accessories as the super rod kit. I must look into where to get this kit from. very impressive.

Wish I had got these for a CAT5/6 project late last year. On a different subject re chasing out walls etc. How much risk is there for cracking etc. as some of the cables are surface mounted at present?

Does it come with some sort of tool which will allow you to trace an existing Cat-5 cable in a wall, and remove the staples that some moron used when the building was being built to attach that cable to the studs?

Great stuff as usual Roger. My governor would only give me a roll of insulation tape and an old wire coat hanger for hooking and pulling cables!
@SkillBuilder
@SkillBuilder 9 жыл бұрын
Bob Hatcher We all used wire coat hangers once but you don't know what lies beneath the surface and sooner or later that metal will touch something it shouldn't. I poke these polymer rods down the back of live racks with no worries about shorting stuff. The rods are cheap in Screwfix and wholesalers.

It's a pretty strong magnet, but they're misrepresenting it's strength. I just noticed even other companies only slightly pick up the front end of the hammer, and don't suspend it completely in the air. Even on this video, the rear of the hammer is resting on the floor. Not that I care, either way it's a great product, but good sleight of hand..

Yep you are right and we have all used conduit and gaffa tape but the SuperRod has loads of good attachments and if you have a set on the van you are never going to be stuck. Just my opinion.

DIY Homeowner here. I challenge you to find a carpenter, plumber or electrician who will be cheaper than $213 for a days worth of running cables/pipes. Coming to the house alone = $80. This rod set you get to keep for many jobs in the home for years to come to do it yourself. circa 1867 Home Owner.
