For those who want to Plastidip for the first time, ensure your layers dry between coats, its even, and its not too thin. That's how he was able to peel it so easily.

Changing those two pieces out is really not bad at all and honestly quite easy! All you need is a flat head or clip remover tool and a 10mm socket. A light also helps for that front fascia.
@ChasingAdventuresCO10 күн бұрын
sure, its not too bad and I am sure I could of done it too but this method was cheaper and wanted to show you guys a different method.

Just a thought. I put carbon fiber edging on my vents too. I didn’t like the chrome on the vent, so used carbon fiber door edging and cut to fit. Looked pretty good and matched all the carbon fiber accents in my interior. Hope this helps. Be well.

Sounds good! I'll have to try that out

Dude this build is so siiick! What do you think about the fender flares? I’m thinking about getting them for my Trailsport . Would love to see the process of someone installing them themselves.

Isn’t part of the Honda sensing radar built into the front Honda emblem? I know models in the past it was used for such things as the adaptive cruise control

yes it is but it doesn't effect it.

Are there any metal railings/cages you can purchase for these Pilots? Kind of like Toyotas and other brands where you can place metal plates inside the vehicle. Thanks!! Love your videos!!

Blackout the trailsport badges, exterior and dye the stitching on the interior
@IsaiahEBelk12 күн бұрын
No why would he blackout the trailsport badge.. I’d leave that alone because it unique, it distinguishes it apart from other pilots

All the items you used plati Dip on can be replaced with factory black parts. Any reason you chose this route? And if you are going to use plasti dip why not use the superior hyper-dip product?
@ChasingAdventuresCO6 күн бұрын
Sure, like i mentioned at the beginning of the video, I didn't want to pull the bumper out to replace them and the cost savings. And if I don't like the way it looks, I could just peel it off. From my experience, regular plasti dip is good enough compared to the more expensive hyper dip.
