Chassis Paint- How to Stripe coat and why!

Good video. I will be Stripe Coating my chassis when I finally finish the welding work. I also think that with a bare chassis the stripe coat will help avoid wasted painting as you would try in vain to paint some surfaces / cavities.

Great video, looks like a really good job but leaves me with two questions... 1/ what do you do to protect the top of the chassis rails? 2/ price for this job on a 110?

Agreed, little point calling it Platinum if it is not a complete chassis coverage job. Rust will just come through from all the surfaces that you cant cover whilst the body is on.

Zero creep / sub surface corrosion. It is about as far as you can go without taking the chassis off, then you may as well put a galv on and paint that as well. Where do you stop? Where the customer asks you to.
