See this is why I run armour and emp on my sledges. Not running either is nuts, i don't think I've ever run into a game where I wanted ap rounds, what does it even do...

For me, I run Range, Mech Rage, EMP, AP on my Sledges. Range and Mech Rage is a must, EMP with a Sledge Line makes it difficult for the enemy to prevent their Key Units from getting disabled, and AP to punish anyone that doesn't build enough Screens for their Giants and Scorps, or to catch someone that build a Giant Unit/Scorp early. I personally don't like Armor on Sledges as the units that counters Sledges can basically ignore the increase health, and Sledges kind of naturally counters units with rapid attacks anyways. Honestly I just don't any of the durability Tech on the Sledge as they're my Core Combat Units, and if durability's a problem I either get more Tech so they can kill the enemy before the enemy can kill them or I just place down more Fodder to give them more cover. It's the Defense Onion thinking, instead of making my Tanks more durable so they can survive getting shot at, I just make sure they never get shot at in the first place. So yeah, I run AP. 90% of the times I don't get it, but I vastly prefer the 10% times I do want it VS. the 0% times I want extra durability on my Sledges.

And sorry if I come off as a bit aggressive. I'm really passionate about Sledges, and since I do Sledge Carry I really don't rate the Defensive Tech. Those are for a more support oriented Sledges, and just doesn't fit into my playstyle.

AP actually pretty good on sledgies because its the only way they defeat forts and scorps

@@daddysempaichan I personally have armour and repair on them because I feel like carry sledges already perforrm well enough with range and rage. Dropping armour and repair against certain builds (fire, phoons etc) can make you automtically win a match if the opponent built too much into rapid fire stuff. Storms and farseers usually provide good enough EMP in my experience, to sledge EMP is definetly not a bad choice either. BUT to be fair I started using that tech combo before scorpions were added so should maybe reconsider it, or make a separate super carry sledge loadout.

I've found that sledge beat scorp if they can scale, especially if you run emp

The sledges eventually counter the scorps if they get there. Early scorpions sometimes shut them down so hard that they die in the process of trying to go more sledge. But in this game i had pretty great vulcan items

I cant imagine how anyone plays sledge. Scorpions and sabers are so strong against them, like unfairly strong. 200 vs 300 cost but the 300 cost will kill them and be at full hp. Havent played in a while but just before official release i was really high up, I've come back and tried out some units I always thought were a bit shit.. and yeah.. sledges.. ive never lost to anyone who made more than like 2 lol.

I think sledges are strong either as mass chaff clear that is later chaff themselves, or as a few highly leveled packs with items that can overwhelm most units quickly.

"Enderfolg" is very similiar to the german term "Endsieg", which is a term used during second world war. I don't know about the political interests of this guy, but I blocked him so I don't have to cancel him.

Those are 2 completly diffrent words. And have nothing to do with each other, otherwise the Words "Endzeiten, Endbetrag, Endbahnhof" "end" so on would also be very similar. The pre position "End" just means the last of something. Enderfolg is a normal word which translatet basically means "positive end result" in the context of this game and his strategy it fits perfectly because he always does the same thing and is 2000mmr with it. So the end result is what counts.

cheating is against the rules and its not against the rules to have someone advise you, thus its not cheating

@@UnknownRex If someone always plays the same way you are not getting real time info that is specific only to that match but established knowledge from outside that match. Thus not cheating, it is on the opposing player to not be so predictable.

well many people only play these kinds of games by sharing screen and receiving coaching in the background or playing together with multiple top players etc. It's just the nature of these slow paced games that you can receive the input of multiple minds
