This is a Chatacabra hunt using Charge Blade in the Monster Hunt Wilds Beta Demo. After a 3 month Monster Hunter hiatus, this was a pretty clean hunt.

Gready, learned all about CB from you. Picked up Risebreak in anticipation for Wilds and really wanted to get into Charge Blade since it’s always deemed the most complex. Excited for a Wilds but everyone keeps shitting on Wilds SAED. I personally love the AED Follow-up in wilds!

When you do analysis videos with your enthusiastic voice we all know, maybe you could mention that if you connect with the back end of a spinning axe attack, it no longer counts as a hit, unlike Rise. But you can also aim attacks with focus mode.

So its like a sour spot for landing axe ticks? Hit with the back end of the attack and you dont get the buzzsaw effect?

@@greadyknight Exactly. Kind of lame because Rise you always got buzzsaw even on the back swing. Why did they take it away?!

I think it existed in rise but the sour spot timing was a bit for forgiving for rise cuz it was onnswitch first before getting imported to other consoles. They had to account for 30 fps, so windows in general were a bit more forgiving.

Gotta love that feeling of everyone getting into a nee monster hunter, even if it’s just beta. Ive been having a blast all night and morning, im a bit ashamed to say I might be abandoning the charge blade for this title, dual blades are just so fun.
