Please, please, please get and wear a safety harness when working above the first fall. All it would take would be a gust of wind catching the window and down you would go. I agree with the others, safety glasses on both of you when working with the rock wool. That said, I love watching your videos and seeing the love pour from you all to one another. It will be a fabulous Christmas holiday with you in your homes. Positive thoughts on the sparky showing up and completing the wiring in both the chateau and the cottage this week! Enjoy the process....you are building a lifetime of memories and love.

That view out those windows is amazing. Wow. Love the job you did on the windows. They look stunning. Will you also repair the shutters? That little bit that was found in the drawer may be a hair pin for when women used to put their hair in curlers. They had plastic pins they would keep them in place. This was before the invention of curling irons and hair dryers. Looks like somebody has a future as an interior decorator. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to your next one.

Brilliant progress. When you do your Twelve Days, remember to keep them short so you don't burn yourselves out! One of the "days" must be "warm fires" or "working fires". On that note - is it possible to pack one room with portable heaters and work hard on that room, then heat another room, and so forth? Here in the US it's possible to get electric radiators which are filled with oil to hold the heat, and they can be rolled from space to space. Surely there is something similar there -- it would help with cold-freeze-syndrome.
