Another fab video Dan, I was basically doing that walk last week! I was late for Choral Evensong at Westminster Abbey walking down from Victoria and they wouldn’t let me in!! So I walked past the gleaming ‘new’ Big Ben (after its renovations) to the South Bank, past the Eye, to the Royal Festival Hall, which is worth a shout out too to hang and eat or coffee not to mention it is a full blown symphony hall (with a mighty pipe organ) for classical concerts in the evening. I walked across Charing Cross railway bridge on the cantilever footbridge with the lovely views of the Thames and St Paul’s to Covent Garden, which is always busy (with a great Apple shop), then to the centre of Soho, Old Compton Street, to have dinner at the smaller of the two Ballans restaurants/café bars. I love going to the Tate Modern for morning coffee at the café on level six with magnificent views of St Paul’s Cathedral, I could sit there all day 😊 There is also an outdoor observation area in the new extension to the Tate Modern on level nine. That is just too much to do in London!! That ChatGPT is just so good from last time you mentioned it. I look forward to your next adventure.
